2 out of 5 are calling on territory ! # 4 the white outer tail feathers is throwing me off I’ve got pics of #4 singing if that helps. LOL The necklace is the defining feature on that bird. Vespers on sweet clover...do I get a point and 1/2

Tray, is there a Sharp-tailed in the mix? Yes, sort of........it’s not called Sharptailed anymore.

We have a bird here that sits along the roads and they fly very fast and uniform make turns up down right and left with precision They blend with the snow hundreds in a flock or group beautiful aerodynamics anyone know the name of them large groups behaving like that are probably Snow Buntings Longspurs are in flocks of 10-20 birds That behaviour is to distract Gyr Falcons.....there probably was one 100-200 yards away sitting in a field or post. 1 Swamp 2 Le Contes 3 5Grasshopper 4 Bairds

Tray, is there a Nelson's Sharp-tailed in the mix? fixed it for you. Actually you have to look at when Tray took the picture, cause they changed the names a few years back. It's like museum specimens named for the current time. Good exercise Wilson Jr

The 5th photo sure looks like a bison rub on the side. How big was the rock ? Rock was only about 2ft tall, located in a cattle pasture so that’s probably the culprit. That country has millions of rocks so they have many options.
