FYI: this is the exact same pan assembly/adjustment as on the TS85s and the Bridger 2s and 3s dogless. It is a simple adjustment that anyone should be able to do in 5 min per trap. Based on my experience and as stated above, once you do one trap and see how much to adjust it, you can make the adjustment identical on every trap. Havent seen one yet that varied. For example, on the B2 dogless once you loosen the nut just tap the sliding piece flush on the back end with the non-sliding piece. Pan will be level.

Move it toward outside jaw or toward center trap?

The pan assembly should originally be about flush with the cross piece that it sits upon. Just give it a little tap or two inward towards center once you have loosened the nut. It only has to move a tiny bit to make a difference in how high the pan sits once set. Feel free to experiment to get what you want.

I got it done, compare new no. 5 Bridger, the extreme appears be more quality trap, the Bridger on jaw opposite the dog, sits a little higher when trap set, I not go bend the spring lever so set lowering brand new trap, , use 3)16 s hook to attach premade sliders to drown lock work good, use conduit for top stake with s hook thru hole in top conduit to attach slider,
an gunny sack for deep end with sand, conduit holds better in sand then rerod of same diameter an lengthe ? I have 2 ft long for in sand, had big beaver last fall where got another beaver drown that did not go down stream on slider an pull stake an swim around when check trap with funny sack with sand as anchor , Almost always if good slider no entaglements they go down terminal end, trap tangles in sack
