I might be overthinking it cause i used traps without mods and they didnt hurt animals thank you all for the help

Again Ethan you can release them from traps that are not modified in any way. Don't buy into the BS that un-modified traps will maim or injure the animals everytime they get caught.
Then again there is a long time before season and with your enthusiasm, you'll likely need something to keep you busy til a girlfriend trapping season comes along. So you say dont get a girlfriend cause if so i agree

I would advise getting a girlfriend till about a month before trapping season. takes a couple weeks of you ignoring them before they move on so plan ahead. Always easier to make them break up with you and them thinking it's their idea.You need some distractions to curve ur enthusiasm. That could just backfire on him. He gets a girlfriend, all the other girls become jealous cause she's hogging the trapper for herself, they all start throwing their attention at him, and before you know it we got yet another trapper turned gigolo and we never hear from him again til he's washed up at 40 and looking for another hobby.
