Wasn't that notion dispelled for the most part?

Isn't ASPCA a legitimate animal welfare organization as opposed to some dirty animal rights group like HSUS?

My memory isn't the best but I do believe I recall a trapping organization supporting someone highly ranked and directly related to an animal rights group. Many on this site still support that organization to this day.

Quit condoning

"Not only does Subaru produce some of the most efficient automotive vehicles, but they are also a large participant in donating to animal welfare groups, specifically to ASPCA. In the last six years alone, Subaru has donated roughly $10 million to ASPCA as part of their Share the Love partnership.

ASPCA was the first humane society to be established in North America, and it is the largest in the world to this date. When you purchase or lease a new Subaru, the company donates $250 to a charity of your choice. Through this program, over 250,000 animals have been rescued including homeless pets and exotic animals."

Condoning? Maybe you missed the question marks at the end of my inquiries.

Had an 05 baja had head gasket problems twice, expensive to fix otherwise ok,200,000 when I junked it unibody rotted out from all the salt. Was a great little car but sure wasn't a truck. Use to load it with wood, had to be careful you didn't put to much in it. Liked the idea I could just throw the critters in the back instead of in a car. 06 was the last year they made them.

Here is what 29 beaver in the back of a Subaru looks like.

We call it the LAV.

Just buy a Toyota RAV 4 or the Highlander if you were looking at a Forester size, cheaper than a Subaru and all wheel drive is just as good.

You gotta love the stereotyping, not supposed to do it but everybody does. You can't help it if you observe things around you and notice trends. They say personal bias just reaffirms your stereotypes, but then you hear folks from all over the country observing the same thing and you know it is real. wink

I guess if what you drive affects your sexuality, better fight that battle on your own time. I have seen many trucks with rainbow stickers on the tailgate. I fact don’t homosexuals wear shoes too? And what about socks? Do they buy food at a grocery store? You guys make the weirdest arguments.

One thing Subaru is known for is their timing belts. Subaru recommends changing them at like 75,000. If the belt goes the motor is basically toast.

Oh the shame....I work my Subarus, the older Outbacks can fit two adults, and 4 adult whitetails inside, with room for more on top.

I've had my car in places I know a full size truck couldn't go, excellent in mud, floats, doesn't sink and maintains steering and traction.

Mine are Jap engineered (industrial engineering largely American designed since WWII), but built in America by real 'merikans.

They keep a real low-key look for ROW trapping, as the myopic view here tends to support. Can't be a hunter-killer in that Subaru!

They are VERY easy to work on, a handful of metric tools and you can strip the car. Two guys can lift the boxer engine.

I had a few other pics, but you could see my long hair, a tie dye and a bumper sticker lol, guilty as charged.

I occasionally and grudgingly have to drive my wife's mini van when taking the family somewhere. I don't think there's anything inherently gay about mini vans, but it sure does make a guy feel like a total [w]ussy.

And, I don't think driving a Subaru makes you gay or necessarily signals that you are gay. It simply means that you have the same taste in vehicles as the vast majority of Indigo Girls fans.
