.... probably a worn outlet ... is the tv plug loose ? ... if that’s the case just replace the outlet

If you trouble shoot and find it’s the temp agency punks... my advice would be to ride on down to there ... pick out the head honcho... jerk his britches down and give him a bare butt whippin with a leather belt that has your last name tooled into it
