Let's try a different approach. You seem to acknowledge the Democrat party went over the cliff (I've long held that view). What is it that I'm being told by Republicans that I should take with a grain of salt? That's giving you the benefit of the doubt that I believe everything I'm told.

Republicans rely too much on received wisdom. What someone else (or something else, like the Bible) tells them is true.

I could give a couple examples, but they would be examples that would only get people riled up--as they have in the past.

I don't put the Bible and politicians of any stripe on the same plane. I have a fairly discerning and capable mind and can make most judgements without being unduly influenced by others. Economic and social issues aren't that terribly hard to understand. Foreign policy I find more problematic.

you are supposed to suffer to make climate change end how much fuel or other oil product you use has nothing to do with it only how much you can suffer at their hand.


you can raise beef good beef on pasture for less per acre in fuel than it takes to grow Soy a lot less , heck if you use a horse cart to bring minerals out and move fence wires every other day you could do it almost fuel free till it is time to cut hay . then you have 3 days a year to cut a winters worth of hay and bail it. one skid loader to move bales in the winter

When I was teaching and helping coach in SE Alaska. We just had “the wrestling team”. There was no boys or girls team. The only time it wasn’t a mixed team was at state.
