This head injury happened on the day of his birthday.

The sad part is If this had happened to a superstar like Mathews or Crosby in the playoffs it may have been a different story. If Evans gets hurt while fighting is one thing, but a dirty hit to the head should be punished with a longer suspension.

A lot of people are complaining about fights in hockey but up to the 90's when enforcers were present we did not see these kind of dirty hits, those guys kept everyone honest. Players like Guy Lafleur and Brad Park played all their carreer without wearing a helmet. It says something about the game.

They had harder heads back in the day.
Goalies didnt wear masks either and they made face saves on slapshots.

Nessmuck, the type of tomato juice can which contains some of the best players kind of the type that won the '' Rocket '' Richard Trophy...but not quite. Regardless, those type of players couldn't stop the Habs!!!

Habs are moving to the next round, will your team be playing golf on June 11?

The Habs wouldn’t be in the playoffs if they were in this Division. We will see Wednesday if the Bruins can bounce back and bring it home for game 7. I would put Swayman..the greenhorn ...in net ,for Boston.

Well no one could anticipate how the season would be defined... but this how the cookie crumbles.

Bruins w/o Rask, I am not sure...I think it will be a struggle but maybe I have it wrong. Will see.

Yes you are right they finished 4th in their division and faced teams that finished with 77 and 63 points, now what does this mean in the playoffs? Absolutely nothing !!!

In my views it is always nice to go in as the underdog since there is always less pressure involved. However, no one should underestimate the element of surprise unless of course you are a Bruins fan!!!

Yup, the Islanders are taking you down, now I am sure!!! Lol

Both are very strong teams... it will be a difficult one for the Habs. They have a bit of time to rest and treat injuries so hopefully it will help but it is what it is.

I too watched the Colorado - Las Vegas game and it was a very good one, very fast pace until the end, The Avalanches could have taken it. Nice o/t goal by Stone.

Tonight, Bruins vs Islanders, another good game for sure.
