Not a sheep hunter but ive seen some videos were they've had anywhere from 6 to 10 guys looking for a ram for one tag holder.

Sounds like an expensive hunt and others doing the hunting for the shooter. Sheep dosen't stand much of a chance.

Ya there will be some but we will have worked just as hard. Couple of heritage type tags can't hunt the unit this year so thats good

What "YES sir" said is very true. If you expect to have a shot at the biggest ram you will need to be Johnny on the spot sort to speak because if there is an outfitter there he will be. I would forget bow hunting for the first couple of days if I was after the #1 ram in my area. Just trying to give you a heads up to help out ! Love sheep hunting. The ram I took I was hunting against one of the better outfitters in the state. The outfitter was new to this area thou and did not know how the sheep moved .He found the ram as I did and he made his client scale a cliff on ropes trying to get to it. His client backed out because he did not have those skills.

We should be able to hit 170 and up haven't seen 180 yet but genetics are there. I think this one will score a little better. Carries his mass out more.

I keep hoping to be a sheep hunter, but have been waiting over 40 years to draw a tag. Does that make me a sheep hunter or a wanna be?

From what i have read a 170 class ram is a trophy for the average hunter. Anything above that would be a bonus. I know if I'm ever lucky enough to pull a tag i would be extremely grateful for a shot at a 170ish ram. Great pics.

Still waiting on the Arizona sheep and mule deer draw. Last hope for the year to draw a sheep tag.

So far at least from the side profile that looks like the best ram you have shown. Its a beast. I would be very happy to tag that one!

Looking at that landscape you would be putting them out of their misery.

I'd be droppin the hammer on either one, even on the first hour of the first day. Both look like slammers to me. That hunters got to be getting excited!
