Now come shoot some deer here with that gear. Put you on a doe in 5 minutes.

The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle.

I love the wood arrows!

Shot 3 coons shortly after this photo was taken. I switched arrows, and used steel broadheads.

How are you achieving your marbled crests?

It sounds more complicated than it really is.

Take your wood arrow and carefully tape off where you wish the crest to be. Apply your base coat, white in my case, and allow to thoroughly dry. In a large vase, I like something about 4" in diameter or larger, fill with an adequate amount of water so you can dip past where your crest will be. I use Testors model car paint, and with a toothpick apply a several drops of paint to the surface of the water in the vase. Carefully swish it around with the toothpick, taking care not to "mix" it with the water. You want the paint to float on the surface. If it mixes, dispose of the water and start over because the results suck! Now the fun part, take you shaft and dip through the paint into the water slowly. I like to slightly twist the shaft as it goes in-this with get you more of a swirled marble look. Dip past the cresting (this is why you tape off a generous amount of the shaft), and swish the arrow around to. This will force the remaining paint on the surface to the side of the vase. Remove the shaft from the vase, and give 1 good whip-this throws off the excess water quickly but not the paint. I know, weird right? But it works. Hang the shafts up to dry. As long as the paint isn't mixed with the water, you can reuse by adding more paint and swirling on the surface. I typically replace water after 3-5 shafts.
