Yes, they will and they do. For an extremely easy example, look into the firearms confiscations in New Orleans, just as most residents (actually United States Citizens entitled to their Constitutional Rights) needed them most. Cops and military were told to confiscate firearms for the Citizens' own good, and they did it, collected their paychecks and went home safe, the real priority.

Don't feel bad about being naive, I too was once incredibly naive and idealistic, and even thought others would always want to do the right thing.

Some easy facts to remember:
Most cops have a retirement plan the depends on them not getting fired. The only way to not get fired is to do what they're told.

Most cops have families, and their families depend on them getting paid and having an insurance plan. The only way to get paid and have insurance is to not lose your job (see above).

Most cops are actually good guys. They will see themselves as doing the right thing when media and their masters tell them that certain lineage, political affiliations and/or patriotic beliefs are evil (like Jews) and they are detailed to do something they wouldn't do to a "good citizen".

The military is exactly the same way, but worse, because you are fed propaganda from both your chain of command and from everything else you see, plus when you disobey ANY order you don't get fired, you go to jail (or get shot). Truth be told, the military IS socialist, and everything is provided, just be a good worker bee (I was in for three years in the 1970s and went from E1 to E5).

I was training a near-graduate from the Naval Academy a couple years ago and he could not tell me whether his oath was to the Constitution or to his superiors. This man is now a naval officer of above-average intelligence and is completely ignorant of his Constitutional oath and obligation...The Oath is just a box to check for them, like "did you get issued your socks" (Check), "Did you do the oath?" (Check) and the words they are told say do not really sink in. How do you think the privates and seamen are? "Woke"?

The corporate media (and the intelligence agencies behind them) are incredibly powerful, and I see many otherwise intelligent people sitting there with their mouth hanging open, absorbing everything said on network news by the paid actors and actresses reading their assigned lines with their assigned expressions discussing their assigned agendas as if its Gospel. Captured souls, who STILL think they have the ability to filter propaganda to figure out The Truth from the steady stream of buzzwords and innuendo.

I even see people HERE that think the corporate media is credible. That they believe anything broadcast as truth is more than surprising. Stunning. Disappointing. The power of constant propaganda is literally amazing as the Overton Window is pushed further and further left.

By watching the corporate media, you have already learned how bad guns are, how crime is caused by guns (not criminals), how 'gun violence' is a horrible problem and all we need is some more 'sensible gun control' to get crime under control (while they set free criminals and illegal alien invaders, and fail to prosecute those in power that are clearly guilty). Ever notice that any cop will enforce gun laws? Because they value their jobs and because they believe people smarter than them decided it was the right thing to do. Notice the daily newspaper articles about someone being caught with an 'illegal gun' and arrested? How about those people in DC that were from VA and just got busted for merely having a gun, so forget 'keep & bear'. The Constitution clearly states 'shall not be infringed', and corporate media has even slurred THAT meaning.

You're already learning how bad patriots are too, and when its time for the patriots to be killed, rounded up or persecuted in other ways, the police and military will participate with a clear conscience, having been thoroughly propagandized into believing they are doing the right thing. Just like Hitler's Brownshirts.

And, before the final plans can be put into place, the opposition must be painted as the bad guys, dangerous to society. Then, it's okay to take away their guns, freedom of speech, or to put them on the rail car - they're bad and it's okay to treat bad people badly.

Watch the news today. Anyone with patriotic ideas is being painted as bad.
