Well how can scripture speak for itself if I have to have Philip run along side me to interpret it for me in Greek and then find out the Greek thinks Holy Spirit is a it instead of a person. At least unless a philosopher is present to add more. Then why have the Greek anyway.
Don't get me wrong, you can't take philosophy out of religion but you can take the religion out of philosophy.

I remember when Mark June used to post about trapping, instead of preaching crap all the time. I miss him…

I really didn't see Marks post as religious post, just more about the way things are headed
It is kind of interesting that those who don't want to believe in the Bible might not want to accept the one world government movement simply because it would line up with prophecy.

Speaking of Richard which means "leader". King Richard was only King for a couple years. But he loved the people and got "innocent til proven guilty" and also did works on getting ''bail rights" for the people. He ran into bad circumstances when he hurried the blacksmith that was shoeing his horse. Which resulted in his horse losing a shoe and Henry or his men killed him. "Oh for the Want of a Horse Shoe Nail" originated in that deal. Shakespeare didn't have the right facts and did not do Richard justice in his writings. Maybe Shakespeare was busy helping write Psalms, hopefully not making any mistakes or adding any signatures in scripture! Its the little things in life that leave giant blessings or not.

all the white european type cultures are being diluted by allowing encouraging illegal immigration. those cultures are really (with a very few exceptions) the only cultures that have embraced freedom and thrived with democratic republics....
the end game is obvious.

I can't speak for Mark but I'm guessing he started this thread from a spiritual perspective based on what we're witnessing in the world today and how it all aligns with the book of Revelation. If that's the case, that's how I see it. As mentioned, no one forces anyone to read a particular thread, especially when the topic is so clearly laid out in the thread title. If there is nothing of interest for you to see, move along. What we're witnessing in the world today, and how it applies to the book of Revelations is EXACTLY the reason I opened this thread. I'm on 2 Peter now, and will be to Revelations in 3 days or less. Earlier today I asked you what your issue was with the banter about it. You asked me what my problem was. I didn't have one

Earlier today I asked you what your issue was with the banter about it. You asked me what my problem was. I didn't have one I'm casting my memory back a bit but I think this stems from a conversation we had in another thread regarding the doctrine of election. As I remember it, you thought it a useless division among believers and pointed to Paul in Titus as evidence of it. Paul referred to divisions in the church as it related to things like circumcision and whether one was a follower of himself, Apollos or Cephas. Those were useless divisions in his mind. No one more ardently taught the doctrine of election in the NT than Paul. Read Romans. He didn't regard it as a useless division, he propounded, expounded on it. We live in an age of easy believism where people tend to think of God as a genie in a bottle to be summoned on their own whim. You hear this talk of people "accepting" Christ as though He were a beggar. The reality is, will God accept us? I think it's good to occasionally let skeptics know they're not in the drivers seat. Who hardened whose heart?
