Why is the military not doing anything in this crisis? Are the leaders part of all this? I thought they were to protect us from foreign and domestic attacks? Is it all just media hype, I'm not sure,I do know, my life hasn't changed much but if I watch the news it seems bad or even worse than that

Politicians control the armed services.
The Generals, when they get to that rank, want to become politicians.
Money and power corrupt.
Weak, wish-washy, high ranking officers were put in place by obammy.
These weak minded, self-serving officers will sell their soul for power.

Our military can do nothing without orders.

Nate what makes Veterans so special is not that they stood up to serve the country.

it is that they signed on to serve their country against all the odds that they still believed in the country enough to die for it , even knowing the politicians would abuse them in many ways , lie to them , sell them out , miss use them , speak ill of them , and accuse them of atrocities.

Thanks to our administration, if one were to send troops in now, they would be up against a well armed fighting force. Instead of being armed with shot out AK 47"s with iron sights, they now have modern US equipment including armored vechiles etc. You could expect to loose a lot of out guys in a confrontation if it came to that.

Politics... isis flourished with obama in office. isis was decimated with President Donald J. Trump in office. Now taliban is flourishing with biden in office.

As stated above Generals are politicians. Their looking for their next job as a Defense Contractor or Analyst etc. Also we don't have anymore Generals like Patton or
Schwarzkopf. Any up and coming good ones are squashed by the politicians (Not talking about the good line officers and NCO's). When was the last time you saw a General really resign on principle not politics? Biden is the Fool in Chief and gives the orders. As a retired military member myself I feel for the troops on the ground as they have to follow orders. We kicked (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) everywhere we went and all our troops past and present should hold their heads high knowing they served and protected our great nation. We are now suffering the result of a stolen election and incompetent Commander in Chief.

I watched it the other night, basically she stated that if the US wanted to stop this we could...So why aren't we? THAT is what's scary!
