Typical bird hunting. Great shooting....poor hitting.

Actually a pretty good number north of Ely, we worked over some of the state land and first time in years we actually shot a limit

I got out this morning and flushed seven birds in a couple hours. I had three iffy shots but took into consideration ammo scarcity, more hearing loss and having to clean a gun. I passed. Doesn't look like a banner year but I'll know more when the leaves drop.
