I would look up his number. You can check his page on Facebook and he has some ads in trapping periodicals. Ask him.
You will go a long ways to find a nicer, more honest, more humble and well rounded trapper.
John will never ever blow his own horn. He is a very good trapper. A very close friend of mine is good friends with John.
A while back he said he and John took a tour of my friend's trapline one summer when John was up this way. Like trappers do, they talked trapping that day.
He said John has a tremendous amount of knowledge. You do not hear a ton about him. Why? Well the guys you hear the most about, lure dealers etc. do
most of their own horn blowing and chest beating. My word if a bunch of these fellow were as good a lure maker as they are at bragging, showing pictures etc. there would be no fur left to trap!!!!!
What most youngsters do not even think of is that when fur was actually worth money, the old time pros did not have social media like this page to brag on. Whats more is none of the real pros wanted anyone to know exactly what they caught and where they caught it. They made their money trapping fur. The mindset of real pros was completely different.
