Why is it so many very nice and decent people die way to young while so many thieving no good folks who are rotten to the core live long and prosperous lives?
Answer that one.
Mac Because God needs good people in Heaven. By taking them young he avoids the possibility of them some day rebelling and turning evil. He allows the rotten ones to live in hopes that they will see the error of their ways and turn to Him, much as Saul did, before He eventually gives up on them and sends them to Hades. Because of the evil interjected into the world when Adam and Eve gave into temptation. Satin is the source of evil, God is the source of good.
