Problem is that no markets have developed and the season has started.......I think. That would be the answer, NOTHING has changed so there is a lack of optimism.

Why? What exactly has changed? How about a little transparency in the market? Economic news out of China? We have a winner ! in 49er statement Shipping containers going from 3k to 23k could be one thing. And a backlog of ships to unload.and carry away the containers with no train service, the list is endless.

Nothing from FHA, trappers would like to know. Nothing has changed so why would FHA issue a report stating that? I doubt they would comment Groenewold's intentions if that's what you're wondering. Very little demand for wild fur with the exception of Muskrats heavy coyotes and maybe under ice heavy beaver would not earn them any points. Anyway, the notice says postponed not cancelled, maybe good to take a wait and see position. And........ I bet there's a world of green fur looking for a home by February and March. I guess I didn't explain my comment well enough, above is what I meant nothing from FHA, so what has changed.

As an unpaid acting ambassador of FHA and the trapping profession, I have not put much stock in what FHA says since 2018. Still a true statement by them though. Proper fur handling elevates the product,thus the profession.

I agree with what said about maybe reason is buy from FHA , can't get help , don't want to deal with tons green fur come in, cost the lot to run routes, maybe not worth it to them after costs, if there facility lost lot help, it wouldn't be good, I have no idea the reasons , have see what happens an what is said, never try FHA, not sure if trust it or not, when is there last receving date for what sale ? If groenwold don't run routes, not good, very few options for selling this season unless want to give them away
