I either just don't understand or I'm just weird but if I were on that jury the threats would just make me more resolved to do the right thing no matter what the verdict was.

You know he worked in Kenosha right? You know his dad lived in Kenosha right? You know he went out to clean graffiti earlier in the day right? You know he only shot people while they were attacking him right? You know Wisconsin is an open carry state right? You know there is no minimum age to possess a long gun right? You did watch the whole trial, didn't you?

Yup he prepared for trouble. Yep he went out in a dangerous situation. Yup he walked among the masses that scared the trained police and NG. Yup he got attacked and yup he defended himself from domestic threats.

Hopefully you never need to protect yourself because by your standard if you are prepared then you are looking for trouble.

Mark K. The weapon was in Wisconsin. Where he works, his dad and grandmother and other relatives live. His mom just gave him a ride there.

He actually drove himself the day before for work and he doesn't have a license. He stayed with a friend that he was pictured with cleaning graffiti as well as his sister.

If there is a hung jury can the Judge still rule a mistrial with prejudice?

I don't believe this for a second. How would someone have that knowledge ? If there was a leak I think the judge would put an end to this farce immediately and see to it that the leaker/s were prosecuted.

Don't know on prejudice. I believe he would have to have a finding of misconduct by the state and or a finding that a fair and impartial trial would be an impossibility.

But I'm only a jailhouse lawyer so don't take my word for it.
