No matter how it comes out, he was a kid, out looking for trouble. He loaded up weapons and drove a half hour to go look for trouble. He found it. He should not go completely free because of this. You know he worked in Kenosha right? You know his dad lived in Kenosha right? You know he went out to clean graffiti earlier in the day right? You know he only shot people while they were attacking him right? You know Wisconsin is an open carry state right? You know there is no minimum age to possess a long gun right? You did watch the whole trial, didn't you? Yup he prepared for trouble. Yep he went out in a dangerous situation. Yup he walked among the masses that scared the trained police and NG. Yup he got attacked and yup he defended himself from domestic threats. Hopefully you never need to protect yourself because by your standard if you are prepared then you are looking for trouble.

Mark K. The weapon was in Wisconsin. Where he works, his dad and grandmother and other relatives live. His mom just gave him a ride there. He actually drove himself the day before for work and he doesn't have a license. He stayed with a friend that he was pictured with cleaning graffiti as well as his sister.

Minnesota perspective? How about this, he went out to protect his neighborhood (his father lives there) businesses, and friends from rioters and looters. This revolves around perspective. And........... I think that was the British perspective of the original American Minutemen. He also worked in that town as a life guard. He spent time trying to help clean the town up.

Not me, but you may not want to hear what I have to say! I like what you have to say Lee. We were practically neighbors. I grew up just north of you at Pawnee City NE. I was thru your town a couple years ago and ended up in Frankfort if I remember right. My Dad's stomping grounds when he was a lad was the Marysville area. Yep Gary, that's my backyard! lol. Next time your through this end of the world, be sure and stop, and we'll catch up on life, I'm just a mile and a half north of Wheaton, easy to find!

If there is a hung jury can the Judge still rule a mistrial with prejudice? Don't know on prejudice. I believe he would have to have a finding of misconduct by the state and or a finding that a fair and impartial trial would be an impossibility.

All you need is one person who thinks like Mark on the jury and there could be trouble. Unfortunately half the country thinks like Mark these days
