Proof of the constant pumping to get you to think you are. Doesn’t change the fact the US is the freest country on the planet. Hands down! You don’t need a libtard chart or list of standings to show where we stand. We’r #1 and all lucky to live here. Heck, we have huge amounts of immigrants from many of the countries on that list. Not many Americans lining up to to immigrate to those countries. USA, LAND OF THE FREE!

[quote=nvwrangler][quote=rvsask] I didn’t forget it, I just didn’t add it. Just like i didn’t add how the mom had posted about his new Christmas present, the gun. I also didn’t add how the parents refused to have him sent home for the day even after it was recommended by school officials based on the findings of the teacher and councillors. They’re negligent, plain and simple. I’ve never heard of a school recommending to the parents a kid be removed from school. Parents don’t get to choose wether the kid stays or not. If the kid is thought to be a threat he’s gone. Something not right here. You’re wrong. Read up on the incident. And how about finding a link to the “huge amount of immigrants “ coming from countries listed, maybe you can find public info that I cannot locate. The teaching and preaching of freedom worked with you.

People living in constant fear.No freedom down there. Seen on the news,at a vigil for the victims, someone fainted and the whole crowd paniced and started running for their lives thinking there was another shooter on the loose.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Parents have a responsibility. Gave a gun to a troubled child, and he cried out for help a day earlier.
Where does parental responsibility end? Yep. They are sitting in the same jail as him now.

"Friend" parenting is a crime? When mommy and daddy try to be friends instead of parents. These parents own full responsibility for not parenting. However, unless there was something criminal in the purchasing of the gun as a gift for their son, I don't see how they are criminally liable. As a gun owner, I hope they're not.

They caught the parents. Good. Cowards. Throw the book at them. Where was the mental help for the son? How much of his problems stem from their example??? Why when the school was well aware of violent speak, violent drawings the morning of the terrible act, the kid and his backpack not searched. There is plenty of blame to go around. The Media, law enforcement have turned this into a frenzy. Time will bring forth many facts and failures. Will the media correct any of the frenzy incorrect reporting. NO, they never do. Lastly I have lived a long time before Trapperman, but trying hard not to change my impression of all our northern Canadian neighbors based on what I read here. But sure seems they never miss a chance to hammer their southern neighbors.

Where does parental responsibility end? Never Ends, from how this is proceeding the parents are as much to blame as the shooter and should be charged as accomplices the school superintendent should be charged for his failure to act

The parents should be convicted. His dad just bought the gun. His parents were both in the school that day to address a drawing a teacher had found, depicting a gun and a bleeding victim and good mom texted him “don’t do it.” I suppose that’s freedom too. Parents are not free to remove their children from school. Children are mandated to receive some form of education up until 16 years of age. I’m pretty sure these mandates( not freedom) have ruined a lot of indigenous peoples lives in many parts of the world. When the village raises children they sometimes turn out bad.

What does this have to with the scenario Dirt? The parents refused to take the kid home that day when requested or consider that he might have his new gift from them in his backpack. There’s the freedom to homeschool too so actually they are free to remove them. Many members here likely do.

I just hate to see this pinned on freedom. Freedom allows people to make bad and good decisions. People are to blame for their decisions.
