Praying for a full recovery

Thank you all for the well wishes. It certainly has been a challenging ordeal dealing with this situation. I rarely contact many people daily personally in my work, at least not very closely. Most always see folks outdoors or in my shop picking up orders or stopping bye to chat while in the area. Never very close contact.

The story line is I took a neighbor for a ride to the local chiropractor just shortly after she was exposed to someone infected. She didn't know at the time. About 4 days later after taking her to the Dr. appointment she started getting symptoms. I was exposed to her in my truck when she was infectious obviously. Her husband got sick about the same time that I did.

He got bad pretty quick and she took him to the hospital. I went to the hospital 4 days after he did. 10 days is a long time to lay on your back. I had symptoms of severe fatigue for 12 days thinking I would pull through but it got worse. My O2 level was 84% saturation. My daughter in law is a nurse and brought one of those finger O2 meters over to test me. She said I needed to go to the hospital now.

I later found out the neighbor I took to the Dr. appointment had gone to a local bingo game deal at a local fire-hall with her daughter and grand daughters for a Friday nite get together. An old gal sitting close to her was coughing off and on all evening she said. I said she should have moved or left but they stayed.

Her daughter and grand daughters didn't catch it. A lucky break for them. No vaccinations either. Good resistance I suppose.

Seems like this may be a longer recovery then I had hoped.
