Jeopardy has always had a left-leaning bias. It showed it the answers and in the choice of players. It has gotten worse since Alex died. I've been watching almost from the beginning. Used to be I never missed a show. Lately I go weeks without watching. Can't stand Ken Jennings, I mute his intro's and non-game-related commentary.

I did watch last week because my daughter was home on leave and we enjoy playing. But, now that she's gone, it will probably be awhile before I tune in again.

Maybe if they get a decent, permanent host...

I watch the show often. I enjoy trying to answer the questions. I don't get all wrapped up in the personality stuff like many of you seem to do. It is still a high quality game show in my mind. If they are choosing finalists based on their skill sets to get there then I am okay with the diversity that comes with that.

If the producers and executives at Jeopardy/Sony only criteria in choosing contestants is those people's ability to answer difficult trivia questions, then the liberals, minorities, gays and transgenders of America must be one heck of a lot smarter than conservative white folks and the rest of the American population. Those segments of society are represented on the show at a much higher ratio than than their population demographics.

Jeopardy gets roughly six times the number of qualified contestants that will actually appear during a production year. Somebody or several people have discretion over who will make it onto the show and who won't.

I don't believe that the liberals, minorities, gays and transgenders of America are much smarter than the rest of the population. I believe they are being picked to promote a political ideology, a liberal ideology.

But that's just me, believe what you want.

I have zero problem with a person who doesn't know what sex they are playing on the show. I DO however have a problem with that person earning the title of highest scoring female ever, when he's NOT a female. That's a slap in the face to ALL women, but especially the one he CHEATED out of the title!
