My apologies for derailing this thread so early in the month.
I will start a crick vs creek thread as soon as possible unless someone beats me to it.
I am now used to this sort of attention.

Yes, I have the scar in two places on my index finger. Half way between the end and first joint from notching a stick for a bowstring, about age 7. In the standard place from a nice new German Boker pocketknife that had a very strong spring and the sharp blade got ahead of me and snapped closed, about age 10. Plenty of blood both times.
