?? How would you fill that bucket, then wiggle your arms into that harness , stand up with it full and not spill a drop ? My back hurt just wondering how to harness up in that once it's full. UNLESS....you have a siphon system or hose to fill it after it is cinched on ...ugh.... I suddenly feel like a pack horse You first figure out where the bucket will ride on you. Then take your chain saw and cut a tree leaving the stump to the predetermined height. You then set the harnessed bucket on top the stump. Take another five gallon bucket and bring water to fill that harnessed bucket. Once you have filled you can strap up and walk off.

A five gallon pail fits into my trap basket.Keeps stakes and such from poking through.

I like th idea, although I'll bet it's not very comfortable.

both pictures show round bottom pails or buckets. Wouldnt sit up on hard surface. Plus buckets are tapered more than a five gallon bucket.

I just balance them on top of my head like the middle-easterners. I don't have that good of a sense of balance, so I cut two holes in the pail that I can see through and turn it upside down over my head. Keeps the rain and wind off as a bonus

I was going to make a trapping supplies carrier using an Alice pack frame with the little shelf and either a 5 gallon bucket or a small plastic garbage can.

I saw something like this at Ace and it kinda surprised me. It's amazing some of the innovation people come up with Use the orange pail from Home Depot so you will not get shot during the deer season. Good tip.

If you use a blue bucket you don't even have to set traps... The animals just climb in while you walk by and stop their own hearts. This is the absolute epitome of the "blue bucket set." Mike

Made something similar for fishing gear for way back there! Worked great. Some dirty dog stole it! Now I use an old golf cart, works better and easier on the back.
