We need the rest of the story. Like how government convinced them to plead guilty. Just exactly how do you keep from hitting an eagle scavenging on a skunk carcass from flying up and hitting your car?

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

When I was a haul truck driver ata coal mine in Wyoming we hauled many millions of tons of coal and no eagles were harmed or killed while I was there .
We averaged 6+ coal trains per day .

Amazing how quickly they went from being virtuous renewable clean green energy provider to an evil subsidery of the "largest wind power company". Soon they will get the "BIG" energy label and we will find out they are making obscene profits, with high paid CEO's, and everything.

It is always entertaining when the left start cannibalizing thier own. Windmills were cute when your hippie neighbor had one to power a couple light bulbs on a windy day, but once someone starts to capitolize on the idea as a profitable business venture, they're not so cute anymore. Maybe an eagle hood ornament should be required on this new fleet of electric vehicles that will require a 10 fold increase in "green energy" production and infrastructure.

Quite the slush fund they have going now on the windmills. Wonder who is it that gets to skim the cream in both directions? Get us into the quicksand of green energy Then turn around and sue them into bankruptcy.

Allan - maybe you on behalf of the coal industry and me on behalf of the oil industry could create a foundation and think tank for the protection of owls, raptors, songbirds, and waterfowl whereby we could show happy photos of all the birds NOT killed by our industry. We could become very wealthy in 3 months.
