I always bought turkey loads ten per box. I guess cutting the amount in half is a way to keep consumers from getting sticker shock.
Eh...wot?

This price is ridiculous !!!
HEAVYWEIGHT TSS 20 Gauge PTSSX295F 79 $67.99 Currently Unavailable Shot Size: 7 and 9 Muzzle Velocity: 1000 Shotshell Length: 3in. / 76mm Shot Charge Oz: 1 5/8 Type: Tungsten Package Quantity: 5 Usage: Turkey
5 Shotgun shells for $67.99 !!!!!!!!! I had a few guys telling me how TSS ammo will reach out and fold turkeys at 60-70 yards. They said it was pricey and only available at certain times of the year (pre-turkey season). If I want to long-range plink turkeys I'll wait until the fall season and use a rifle. In spring prefer to call them gobblers to 35 yards or less, the closer the better.
Eh...wot?

5 Shotgun shells for $67.99 !!!!!!!!! Have you priced TSS shot? Cheapest I can find is over $40/ lb, most at or above $50/lb. At 1.5 to 2 oz per shell, gets pricey quick. I'm looking to use it in ML shotguns.

The lead stuff comes in 10 rounds still you would need a bank loan for a box of 25 TSS rounds. LOL

At 68 buck for five .... nope, that aint the reason. I know they want to go lead free, but there are other heavy metals other than gold for crying out loud.

You can buy 5 rounds for about twice what we used to pay for 25 that's what is going on. It is true we have some awesome ammo when we can find it nowadays tho.

5 Shotgun shells for $67.99 !!!!!!!!! I have a load like that but it is going ~1200 fps. It cost me about $30 to load a pack of 5. Most that shoot tss don't do it to shoot farther, we do it for the far superior patterns that you get. Also, I prefer to shoot it out of the 410. Killing patterns out past 40 yards.

Found something cheaper,.
HEVI-Shot HEVI-Hammer Pheasant, 20 Gauge, 3", 1 oz. Shotshells, 25 rds. $24.69
# 3 shot You would be better off with a 7.5 lead load. That stuff you got there is 15% bismuth and 85% steel #3 shot.

5 Shotgun shells for $67.99 !!!!!!!!! Have you priced tungsten shot recently? 3.5" 12ga loads you get less than 7 shots per pound. Even rolling your own TSS costs you $$$. That being said, TSS is lethal on turkeys out a long ways

TSS out of a 410 is highly effective. Get more shots per pound that way as well, and comparing pellet counts per oz of lead to TSS isn't even fair. TSS makes a 12ga unnecessary for turkeys

Just finished loading 25 rounds of turkey loads this afternoon. Dipped into one my remaining 8# kegs of Blue Dot, and one of several bags of chilled #4 shot. Broke out my fathers ol’ trusty Lee Loadall, found his old Magnum Duck load, and went to town. 171 bushing, and 1.5 ounce of lead worked on many a duck in my youth, should do just fine on the turkeys also. Thankful that my father and I were always picking up shot and powder whenever we found close out stores or sales. Especially at today’s price’s. Brought back a lot of memories sitting at that old reloaded, I spent countless hours perched next to him, transfixed at his rhythmic working of the press. Felt like he was back sitting at my side for a bit.
Long live the MAGA King
