The yards here will not except burned copper wire. A wire stripper works great. I got this one 5 yrs ago. Works great. Was $99.00 at the time. You can put on a electric motor on this model. It has an adaptor. The wheel on the top allows you to adjust for the gauge of wire. I have stripped up to 1inch aluminum wire down to Xmas tree lights. Good little tool [Linked Image]
Tonight’s stripped wire

That irrigation pipe should have been 1.60$ a pound
cans should be @ 1.00, just make sure there are none with plastic peel labels on them or down graded.

Check who the owners of your yards are as well, many are Russian owned and the same applies to the Al plant owners

Anybody heard similar stories about the price of metal? I wonder why the price has jumped so much? Does this have an affect on other metals like copper, brass, etc?
