Mark McCary trapper M Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 438 Mesa,Washington.	Guss, you really do not need that wood to set 550"s or most traps in general. Good on you for trying to solve a problem. They do make trap setting tools for big 4 coiled traps etc. MB 550's do have kind of short levers to work with. Really I think You just need more practice and maybe watch how other people set traps. That peace of wood You have there with a little work would make a nice muskrat float? LOL.
