As to the abortion issue. I am opposed to abortion as birth control or as a matter of convenience. Life of the mother vs life of the child comes down to the parents and doctors. Killing an innocent bystander child because the mother was subjected to a brutal crime also strikes me as wrong... Killing the rapist seems more appropriate.

On the other hand, it's hard to argue with the cold logic that any group that sacrifices their offspring at the altar of convenience will eventually be supplanted by those who don't.

Well, probably be pretty angry, but not sure I’d be mad enough to kill a baby. That’s a tough topic to navigate but it truly only encompasses a very, very, very, very minuscule number of the abortions that happen, and I think most agree that in that case, and in cases where the mothers life is in danger, there is room for exceptions to be made.

I honestly don’t know what we would do should that happen. I know one thing, I’m currently raising another mans child, she just turned 11, Ive been blessed to be her dad since she was 1 and I love her very much. She is mine as much as the four that carry my genes. If my wife decided that she could emotionally handle keeping the child that resulted from a rape, I would raise it like my own and I would love it like I love the rest of my children, because the child is innocent. The baby didn’t rape anyone. It’s tough to say for sure, but if she decided she couldn’t keep the baby, she would likely carry the baby and find a couple who can’t have children to adopt it. We know quite a few couples our age who want a baby like they want to breathe but either cannot conceive or cannot carry a baby to term. A good friend of ours has miscarried 6 times in the last two years.

Life of the mother. Nice pat and convenient canard yet according to data and medical professionals occurances of conditions where pregnancy itself is an immediate risk to the life of the mother is less than one half of one percent and in almost all cases measures can be taken to preserve the life of both mother and child.

As a woman, I don't understand that argument. If I was raped, I would want to kill the rapist, not an innocent baby. There is no way I would do that. If I found out that the baby was too much of a reminder, I may consider giving it up for adoption, but I doubt I would even do that.

So, two things here.

1. I am adopted so thank GOD my mother didn't believe in abortion.

2. If rape, incest and health of the mother were given as exemptions, does anyone REALLY think the left would go along with this? Seriously? Margaret Sanger was the one who endorsed this practice to keep the "inferior" population down. Sanger was a role model for hildabeast.

If those three exemptions were carved out and this was the only way someone could abort an unborn child, it wouldn't get a single democrat vote.
