The Dark Tower series. Eric I’m just reading these for the first time, finished “the wolves of the calla” and half through “song of Susannah” I’m really enjoying the series.

Maybe I'll have to try it again. I like Stephen King novels (even though he's a rabid leftist) but could never get into the Gunslinger when I tried to read it?

The complete works of James Fenimore Cooper will keep you busy for a while.

I just ordered some Steinbeck books. I've read a few. Mice and Men for sure, and I believe also Cannery Row and the Red Pony but that's been awhile. Got 7 of them on the way.
