Just got off the phone with my agent. He said sf got blind sided by a company in Fl and was in the process stopping even before the word had gotten out.

Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

The company is still going to take a huge hit.

What does "blindsided by a co. in FLA " mean ?

I question that excuse.

He said a few agents in Fl were approached to help provide school books and were lied to by “a fing democrat run company.”

Again, my issue is more with the disproportionate parental outrage over every little thing and decisions based on the same. A lot of kids are being raised by hysterical parents desperate for a bubble. This is bad.

So there are no troubled or weird kids in public school?

LOL, that is WHY many are homeschooled, they were outcasts in public school and we're getting eaten alive.
So stands to reason they'd be disproportionately represented in homeschooled populations.

They'd be weird no matter WHERE OR HOW they were educated.

Around here, substantial perecentage of homeschoolers are kids of mil. parents, homeschooling allows continuity in their education amid frequent moves.

Dude. It's everyone's choice. I made that clear.

And, yes, there are plenty of weird kids in public school.

Ok, well it's nice to see there are agents who don't agree at all with that poison pill, I figured there would be. As mentioned , however, that pill will hurt the company to an extent , until it is proven they really did refuse that influence.

Do the same. They'll be fine.

Me too -- that is also why i pulled them from public school --- That is not what they are teaching there. Would you send your kids to stand on the corner with the local drug dealer -- me neither. not that I doubt them or their character - but they don't need all the pressure to fit in with the misfits.

Home schooling isn't an option for everybody. What you can and should do, however, is be involved with your local school. Go to school board meetings. Get to know board members, administrators and teachers. Engage your kids' teachers often. This way you actually know what is being taught and can deal with it accordingly.

I work almost exclusively for small farm mutual companies and many around here refer to SF as Snake Farm.

I used to have them. The body shop I took my vehicle no longer takes jobs from them.

had an out of state adjuster at my place yesterday. We talked a while and he told me he quit doing any work for SF years ago. Seems they have upset many independent adjusters over the years.

Few realize how large of a migrant work force independent adjusters make up. I know a lot of them and near as I can tell nobody with a long resume will work for SF. Because of this, the IA firms (independent adjusting firms aka middle men) that do the SF work have newbie classes and recruit ppl with no experience who will work for them because they have no other option.

To me it is a terrible way to do biz, collect full premiums but provide what you know is cut rate service.
