There are those who think the earth is only 6 thousand years old using the 1 day equals 1000 years. They think the earth was made in literal 6 , 24 hr days, even though the sun wasn't created until the 4th day. They also believe fossils of a fish was made that way and there was no actual fish involved. When asked how could oil be formed in such a short time, they tell me God created the oil that way it is to test me whether or not I believe His Word. I believe His Word, I just don't believe their interpretation.

Of course there are those evolutionists who go with the idea of "eons of time" and eventually when you get back to the beginning , then the subject of Sophia comes up. Then eventually Ishtar which is becoming more prevalent in these modern times which aren't modern at all but just a rerun of the past.

A young Catholic couple on their way to get married were involved in a fatal car accident. The couple found themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates waiting for St Peter to process them into Heaven.

While waiting they began to wonder, could they possibly get married in Heaven?

When St Peter arrived they asked him if they could get married in Heaven?

St Peter said "I don't know. This is the first time anyone has asked. Let me go find out." And he left.

The couple sat and waited for an answer....for a couple of months.

While they waited, they discussed the pros and cons. If they were allowed to get married in Heaven, what if it didn't work out? Are they stuck together forever? So, they asked St Peter when he returned.

St Peter got angry and slammed his clipboard on the ground.

"What's wrong?" Asked the frightened couple.

St Peter shouted, "It took me almost 3 months to find a priest up here! Do you have any idea how long it will take to find a lawyer?"

Serious question.
Were Adam and Eve the first and only humans to begin with?
If so how did humans expand from them without incest?
If so then what is incest now considered a sin?

Were Adam and Eve the first and only humans to begin with? Yes.
If so how did humans expand from them without incest? by the common definition of incest, they likely didn't
If so then what {why?} is incest now considered a sin? Things are different now than they were then.

Geeze that's good question too.. Would have to think not unless maker grew them some how??

I do know with dogs at least that incest is called line breeding. That can work for and against you much like the royals and Amish find out.
Also how does one account for different races in the Adam and Eve story? Or was there and Adam and Eve on several different continents? Was that just genetics adapting to environment?
Then there is Noah coming along with ark. Wasn't that a do over of sort? More inbreeds? I don't know I pretty confused. I best just go fishing let others worry on all that.
Maybe all that deciding what is incest just applies to state like Alabama or Utah some them kinds places.

How did we get asian looking people, black people, arab people, white people, Indians, Native Americans, Andean, hispanic, etc. etc. etc. etc. ?

Closed breeding of course, or in other words, incest in a wider sense.

I believe Adam and Eve were real people and the Garden of Eden was a real place. I do not believe the Bible puts a time line on it. I don't think the "begats" and all the generations listed in the old testament are the only ones. I think the timeline from the Garden until now was probably several thousand years and there's plenty of science to back that up. I also believe that the Ice age (singular) was a result of a worldwide flood somewhere between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. Also plenty of science to back that up.

How long were Adam and Even in the Garden before they ate from the tree? A thousand years? A hundred thousand years? God exists outside of time and space, which are human concepts. Prior to the fall, they were not applicable.

not sure where you get this number...

I don't recall a passage in the Bible saying how long they lived in the Garden of Eden before sinning. Could have been millions of years (Death didn't exist until they bit the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge)

Genesis chapter 5 provides detailed information about a chain of men from Adam to Noah. It tells how old each was when he became father to the next link. For example, ‘Adam lived on for a hundred and thirty years and became father to Seth.’ (Gen. 5:3) Thus we have:

From Adam’s creation

to the birth of Seth 130 years

To the birth of Enosh 105 “

To the birth of Kenan 90 “

To the birth of Mahalalel 70 “

To the birth of Jared 65 “

To the birth of Enoch 162 “

To the birth of Methuselah 65 “

To the birth of Lamech 187 “

To the birth of Noah 182 “

From Noah’s birth to the flood 600 “

if noah was born 1000 years after adam got evicted that means the whole planet was populated with people in a very short time. maybe ancient women had litters or maybe instead of 9 months women carried a baby 9 weeks? maybe 10 became the age to start breeding?

What race were Adam and Eve?

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I found this movie entertaining. I only watched it because I hauled a trailer full of lava rock from Des Moines NM to Oysterbay Long Island. NYC. There is an arboretum there in a big park. They built a full size ark out of styrofoam logs for a movie set. The inside of the Ark was in Brooklyn someplace in a warehouse. I did not get to see it.
