I don't, and in my entire lifetime, can't think of a single situation when I felt I would have needed a piece. That may change tomorrow.
But for those of you who do........have you ever needed it? Or situations you know of where a piece was needed. Pulled or not. LEO don't count......that's a given.....like breathing.

I have pulled mine once I was faster than the guy reaching for his he took off no shots fired. Cops came no issues and no further problems from that neighbor. He was mad he found my dead pit full of dogs and his was one of them. After months of asking them to keep their dogs at home I took the sheriffs advise. The evening before a dog was chasing my horses around the pasture . I could get a clear shot then. The next morning I walked in the barn in the dark and hear a growling. Bang. After that I cut loose on all of them.
I had a few time when things got very heated but my calm collected confidence tripped something it the raging fellows head something was not right and they left without incident and never knew I was carrying.
Not a handgun but when I was 17 I was on my way out of town to go squirrel hunting early morning down a 4 lane and one car rode my bumper for a good while then finally passed in the clear wide open lane. I was relieved. We got stoped at a light next to each other and he jumped out of his car and tried to open the door of my suv. The door was locked but opened just enough the interior light came on. I have never seen someone change their mind so fast. When the light came on he could see the 12g in my lap leveled at his guts. He quickly got back in his car burnt rubber running the light. Still have no idea what his problem was.
When I was 16 some guys probably in their 20 thought it was fun shining Lazer pointers in my mirrors from behind. They were in an old 70s boat of a car. The pulled up next to me and as I rolled my window down to holler at them they threw a full 32oz Styrofoam cup at me. It hit my window busted and soaked me and I almost lost control of my vehicle. I was frog hunting time for me and a 3 cell mag light is what I used. They ate batteries so my cup holder was full of d cell batteries. I grabbed one and threw it at them. It hit the passenger in the temple he ended up slumped in the driver's lap, the driver yanked the wheel and drove straight into a steel light pole . I didn't stop to check on them. A gun is not the only thing you can defend yourself with.

I haven't had the need to pull my CC but then again I haven't had the need to pull the fire extinguisher in the kitchen either...

Count yourself very blessed. I can't count how many times I wish I had one on me while dodging bullets. No I'm not lying when I say that. 1st time I was shot at I was 8 yo. This city is worse than ever.

Weather you know it or not it will have a impact on your confidence making you less likely to be targeted by the bottom feeders.

I've drawn mine 3 times on human being in sketchy situations. In none of those situations did the person know............and in all three situations, nothing escalated.
Both my Mrs and I were drawn one morning while scouting for turkeys. We were being aggressively advanced upon by a pair of large feral dogs. We were gonna get bit. One of the dogs didn't survive it. The other saw better of his mistake. Forever grateful we were both carrying that morning. It woulda been bad...........

I've not had to ever draw but I did do a noisy (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and lock then open carry when there were some cartel looking scum hanging around some buildings I needed to access

I don't, and in my entire lifetime, can't think of a single situation when I felt I would have needed a piece. That may change tomorrow.
Rule #1: If you think "tomorrow" is trouble, avoid tomorrow. Good situational awareness should be your first defense. I carry VERY often but my best defense is reading the crowd and keeping your head on a swivel.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I can't believe you even have thought to ask this. But you dont think on the validation of the insurance plans you carry, either. You are seeking some answer that to me, you should have known as soon as you discerned anything , or our Constitution.

X2, and knowing you got heat that you don't want taken from you or the the headache that comes with actually using it tends to keep you out of those situations in the first place.
