Extended Pig catrator for pigs who don't like getting too chummy with the castration performer.

Snake tongs would be my guess Snake tongs are usually twice as long, or even longer and have a rough surface, with curves on the ends, designed to hold a snake immobile. A 24" snake tong could easily get you bit, unless you got the snake in the sweet spot right behind the head, on the first grab. Keith

Any markings on the long flat part?
You might post this on the trap collectors forum. A lot of the experts hang out there. Looks to be some very light markings, but these old eyes can't make it out. I will post it on the trap collector forum and see what they have to say. Thank You. Thanks everyone for their input .

Don't know, but I could see something like that having multiple uses. Pretty cool.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Works great in stores if you leave your glasses in the truck LOl

Long handled Speculum? Looks like it may be for spreading not griping.

Common to see them on construction sites, usually being sought after by new apprentices - a board stretcher.

Long handled Speculum? Looks like it may be for spreading not griping. looking at the hinge it is going to close when you squeeze that handle an extended grabber of some sort , what the intended grabbing was for would be the only question something not very thick
