Until Wisconsin trapping opener, excited this year because the daughter wants to trap with me she's 10 and good at skinning should make a great apprentice

85 days and 8 hours for me. Running the trapline with my dad was an amazing experience and this year I'm going to be running solo, for the most part, I think I'm going to miss it a little bit but he'll probably still come along some days.

My son was also 10 when he got his trapping license…We had a great time and made a lot of memories. The best thing ..was that we kept a journal…of temp,weather, sets and catches..and all the excitement. As in beaver tail slaps scaring the crap out of yah…to running out of boot crossing a steam….lol. It’s fun to read those stories 20 years later

With some help from the weather ;it is better for trapping critters and the trappers enjoy it more if the weather is seasonable you will have some of the best trapping days of your life Good and be safe

Yup I'm pumped, Ness thanks for the idea I grabbed out an old hardcover notebook I had from the Army so we can write down the adventures
