Oh for crying out loud! If they are not doing any physical damage, ignore them. I would rather have a rabid grizzly bear that is high on Angel Dust in the garage than a single snake!
I have nothing clever to put here.

The good thing about snakes is you won’t have squirrels or rats in the attic. If they’re garter snakes I’d leave’em be. They won’t hurt you. Be better if you had some King Snakes around. I tolerate the -30 below zero just because that keeps the rats and snakes away.

You think that is a problem, picture living in FLORIDA! You come home to find this sliding down the stairs!! That is what 410 shotguns are for!

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Sprinkle salt on their tails and it paralyzes them.
Moosetrot No it doesn't, it keeps them from flying. When the snakes go outside, circle the entire building with a rope. Snakes won't cross a rope.

Seriously, surely there must be a food source (insects) they are after this time of year. Seems early for snakes to start denning. I would think if you sprayed for insects the snakes wouldn't have a food source any more??????

I used corrugated plastic cut to fit under a 2 ft plastic gutter . Taped one side with duct tape Then ripped duct tape thin and added Rat grade Glue boards on the bottom under the gutter. 47 Garter snakes caught inside a basement on 3 traps / one was up on a rafter. Spray snakes and trap with cooking oil spray afterwards down by a river or elsewhere and All the snakes will become unglued and crawl away. It works and is cheap.
