Looks great.
You kill him locally?

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Not to far from Oakes N.D. All the land has been leased up by a couple different outfitters. Its a shame, all the tree rows are gone and farming ditch to ditch. Where were many 10 row shelterbelts and there all gone.

Them shelterbelts in the 70's could hold 100's of jackrabbit in the winter.
Fun times with a .22 smile

If you had two snowmobiles, and put one on each side of the shelterbelt and just drove slow and pushed them to the road. We would sit on the road with shotguns and could easily shot 50 to 100 rabbits. You would get 6 to 10 rabbits per shot there were that many. There would be 100's in each belt.

I live in Harvey N.D. in the 70's and we would go out at night and shoot Jack Rabbits. We would shoot 100's of them and take them to the Mink and Fox ranch over by Sheyenne N.D. It take about 325 to 350 to fill a pickup box and the owner of the ranch would give us .50 to .75 cents per rabbit. I would love to have a 1.00 for every rabbit I shot. I shot 1000's of rabbit from 1972 till about 1979.

Yep, was not uncommon for my brother and I each shoot up a brick a day.
Made us a perdy good shot.

Your taxidermist is very slow - 28 years.

I did the mount, so yes very slow. That rack hung in the barn for yrs. Everyday I walked in I would look at it. I just figured it was time.

I purchased a Marlin Md 60 from the Holiday gas station in Jamestown for 29.00 and a brick of Remington hollow points for 5.50. My cousin had rings for it and a 4x Universal scope for 10.00. When I got home I walked to the edge of town and sighted it in. I would walk up and down the stubble field kicking up rabbits and shooting at them on the run. After about 2 wks I was a pretty good shot. I would bet I shot 2000 rds out of the rifle in them 2 wks. I think that rifle held 17 rds. That rifle shot great, the only time it jammed was when I shot Federals.
