Had a dozen or so up to last week. Now only 2 still left. They left just before the hurricane hit Florida. Even hundreds of miles away it seems to affect them. I've noticed in the past that a major storm or front seems to trip the switch to head south.

Mine are gone by the end of July, then I get some migrants from further north the first week of August, then that’s it.

They left about Sept. 1. They leave the same time every year within a two week period.

Had a family nest here. Mom and dad flew the coop about the 1st of Sept. The 2 young of the year stayed until late Sept. 1 left about the 25th and the last one left the 28th. Still have the feeder filled up in case we have a visitor stop by.

WISH I HAD MORE TIME TO TRAP!

Few stragglers around so wife filled feeder this week.

We still have at least one here in the evenings so I'll leave the feeders up until a chance of freeze.
