steeltraps OP trapper Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 6,004 alabama	This location? Old poop in the rode. Have ALWAYS caught coyotes here over last 5 years. Its a 3 way road. Coyote tracks. Close to a greenfeild and. Log pile up place. Downside ? I struggle to get trap in ground. Compressed sand. Very hard

Wanna Be trapper W Joined: May 2018 Posts: 12,744 SW Georgia	The issue I run into with dirt like that is it becomes powder after being disturbed. Definitely no remakes after a catch, lol. Sand is ok, the dirt that looks like your pics is powder…literally powder. I’ll have to wet it to get a set packed and hope it holds once the sun dries it out.

steeltraps OP trapper Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 6,004 alabama	2022 bought with 4900 miles. Now has 49000 miles about 14 months latter. So good so far. Off Road about everyday. Had front brake pads put on at 40000 miles. Got 22-23 mph gallon on 1200 mile trip. Happy so far
