I give you a lot of credit for going back to school. It is always a good thing to learn and will be a huge credit to your future.
One question if I may ask. After completion what is your plan for a future career or dream job?

I doubt I will ever have a dream job, as my dream job would be to not be working, lol. So my main goal is to find a job that pays well enough that I at least won't have to work long hours. I am minoring in Certified Financial Planning. At the end of getting my degree I will have taken the required courses to take the CFP exam. So that's one option. But honestly, even if I never use the degree at all I'd still want to do it, just to improve my OWN knowledge so I can make educated financial decisions in my own life.

Good for you, with a degree all of your credits should transfer, is there any requirements as far as do you have to work for lowes so many years after you complete your degree? No. Just have to stay employed with Lowes while you're getting your degree. And amazingly, it doesn't even need to be full time. Part time and they'll still pay everything. The good thing about that is that once I get into the higher level, difficult courses, if it gets to be too much I can drop down to part time at work and still get my degree. Really Awesome

“If you don’t put your money to work for you then you’ll always be stuck working for money.” Famous quote from somebody,,,,,,,
Can’t really understand what “ Certified Financial Planning” really means?????
But taking interest in your own finance is allways good
Good on lowes! Maybe it's a United States thing? https://www.bankrate.com/investing/financial-advisors/what-is-a-certified-financial-planner/

No it’s pretty common,,,financial planner
Take some courses,,,,,,to learn about finances,,, from folks that more than likely failed in the business world.
Don’t get me wrong. What your doing is great thing!!
You’ll learn a lot and put it to use in your own finance
Again, good on lowes!

Recently I found out that my place of employment, Lowes, will pay 100% of my college costs if I go back to college. The catch is that there are only certain degrees that they'll pay everything for. I looked through the list and most of them were not of interest to me... mostly all business management and computer degrees. BUT, one did catch my eye.
Those of you that read the posts on here about finances and the stock market have probably seen me on there asking questions of White17, Steven49er and others. I know little about finances and markets but find the topic intriguing. One of the degrees that Lowes offers a full ride for is a Bachelor's of Finance. So I bit the bullet and signed up. I felt I would be a fool not to accept completely free schooling... they even pay for required books and course materials.
I already have an associate's degree, and I'm still waiting to see how many of my credits will transfer but I think many will. So I hope to have the degree completed in 2 or 2.5 years... depending on how time consuming the courses are, since I will also be working full time. The schooling is 100% online, which is very convenient for me. The college I will be attending is the University of Maryland.
So I'm pretty excited about it and just wanted to share with y'all. Hopefully I don't come out of my time in college as a raving lunatic liberal, hahaha. Never used mine but it was always in my pocket

Good for you. I think if I was offered that through my job I would go back myself and finish my degree. That piece of paper goes along way.

It took me 10 years, going very part time, to get my graduate degree. I had the choice of getting the time off or having the tuition paid. I took the time off and took the expenses off my taxes.
I didn’t get a higher priced job out of it, but it did make understanding management decisions 100% easier. If I had wanted a better job, the masters degree would have been a huge leg up.
Never too old to learn
