I really like the sewer-pipe, green tubes but I defer to Law Dog. If he doesn't chime in here, try sending him a PM.

Any cage it’s all about the pole/shot to calm them down the one thing to remember is you need room to work the syringe so don’t crowd yourself and have openings to work the pole.

I use my cage traps, just cover with an old blanket and they skunks never spray. Transfer to a location to finish the job. IMHO Too many eyes that see the final disposal , is bad for trapping. Weather its nuisance trapping or otherwise. Just too many emotional people in the world today. They just don't understand what real life is all about.

I use the one Kre showed in the picture above. I've carried one skunk over a block and one up out of a basement and never had them spray. Great trap.
57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

8" ztrap. I've caught a lot of skunks in them. I've picked up the trap with a skunk in it from town, put it back of truck, and hauled them several miles out of town with no issues. I just got one of those 8" ztrap. I've caught a lot of skunks in them. I've picked up the trap with a skunk in it from town, put it back of truck, and hauled them several miles out of town with no issues. er winter. Haven't used it yet. I do CO2 for stuff caught in live traps and it would be tricky monitoring the animal in one of those.
