Here ya go Boco! ^^^^^^
You can move up now....
Why let someone else make money that will go into my pocket? I enjoy skinning beaver and am fast and efficient at it. Might be good for those who cant skin. And my traps are still catching when I am skinning, lol. Plus they would have to offer a much better price to compete with FHA.$25 tops and down dont cut it,when you avg $36 at FHA all sizes in.

I would have no problem selling to JIm if he offered a competitive price.

If demand holds...averages for raw & frozen Ontario beaver pelts should be close to FHA. (after FHA fees are deducted.)

I will believe it if I ever see it. I doubt it is possible with all the middle men that have to be paid. That is why the trappers started their own auction house in the first place.better prices direct to trapper and cut out the middlemen

I'm sure Jim will get enough to pay his bills and then some. Great to see competition and demand for beaver regardless where someone chooses to sell.

If I read this right, you are talking an $11 difference. To get that $11, you need to flesh, stretch and dry the hide. Then you need to ship it and wait months to get paid. Once sold they collect 11% (???) commission plus drumming fees. Is that pretty close?
I have nothing clever to put here.

No, your reading it wrong-25 for the best and down from that-not 25 avg.

Better tell that to the middlemen in Canada. I don't believe you can tell a Canadian ANYTHING.
