Anyone have experience with the meds for effect serotonin levels in brain ? Side effects ? How long work ? Make u feel wierd or things seem wierd at first ?

Side effect can include not being able to finish the job whan with your lady friend. Equipment works but never get to the finish line. Fun for a short time gets frustrating after a while. Brother in law had the same issue.

Not the question you were looking for but all I remember about when I tried them for a shotlrt time after my son was killed. Don't remember why I quit taking them but I did take them long. I discovered working out hard gave me waht I needed at the time.

Took one new fluoxtine a few hrs ago an notice nothing except maybe slight confusion an lil headache . Pharmacist does not agree that can quit take Seroquel after many years with no trouble an start trazodone at nite . They probly spend a few min an just decide say take different pills . Call an heard nothing back as pharmacist say call them an say he not agree on what they say

The one new pills in place serouel been on for 25 yrs , was option I think understood. Took one last nite an nothing. Took one more like say an after 2 hrs no sleep. Finally at 330am. Went back to like half serouel an finally slept 4-5 hrs . So done with one. In morning take new serotonin anti depressant ok on 2 ND pill. But I think done with new sleep ones at nite . They say not mix an pharmacist say ok . They actually expect u to go without sleep until Monday when office an give them report . This stuff horrid . I think the one was option I not take at nite an one I still take is most important . Not sure what they say . Tell u that no longer a patient if refuse take stuff don't work . Imagine not sleep hardly none in days . Contact other agency local that help get u job if problems like this kinda thing is . I don't think the new morning serotonin anti pill is bother me like first one was on 10 days earlier as much for negative stuff , at least not now.

Dave, you have got to understand that these meds take time to work, or not. You're going to have to give these meds a fair chance, not quit after a couple of days because you didn't get instant relief. It's taken you years to get to this point so it might take a little time for you to see a change, it's not going to happen in a couple of days. My wife went about 4 months on one before it really worked like it was supposed to, but it was worth the wait for the change it's made. These people really want to help you, but you have to help them to help you.

Ya the one in morning is most important that still take. The one at at nite was not much effect anti depressant it was to sleep . If don't work. I guess go back old stuff as some but have let them know Monday . I was always hope for fast treatment of some sort but unless some great ins . None. Maybe not none then either

Dave there isn't a fast treatment. It usually takes time to find the right medication and dosage.

Slept for 6 hrs maybe last nite without wake up after short time. 1 st time in 15 days . There got be something they can do for quicker treatment then pills. I diet change might help. some do much better on the carnivore diet, or Keto. For sure it will help with joint aches and pains associated with a high carb diet.

Call docter last 2 days an call me back yesterday. Say stop take Seroquel been on forever an take tranzodone 2 pills at nite . They claim no withdraw effects from other . Still take some other pill in morning for week an notice nothing in way benefit. Was wake up all time an not able sleep an last nite was rough nite new pill. Yep that's right Dave. You definitely won't see results from pills in just one week. You need to take the time to let them work. Unfortunately, blood work won't show what's going on in your head. It would be nice if it were that easy. I know it's extremely hard for you to trust your doctors, but if you want to get better, you're going to have to try to.

A good way to clear my head is go to the woods and walk. I don’t have a destination in mind, just park the truck and get walking. Even in the early stages of my hip recovery, just getting outside in the yard walking circles with the walker helped.
