Is the top lift pin in there upside down ..... I don't think they are drilled on center for the roll pins if I remember right .... but its been a while since I have had one apart and my memory may be a bit foggy on that.

the pins have a bevel on them. the bevel faces up and goes in the holes on the stand. the roll pins are in the same way yours . your picture the switch is in the raise position my picture its in the lower position

It requires a load to work right. When the handle is jacked, the head goes up a bit before it lowers again.

Big Bob tried that too. Put it under the receiver hitch on my jeep. Took it up 5-4 holes. No luck

That one pin looks crooked is the only difference I can see.

Its supposed to ride up that bevel a bit law dog when the switch is in the down position. I think. It goes horizontal when when you flip it to jack up. I cant figure out how it works so well going up but wont reverse.

My pin does not tilt in either position it stays horizontal snapping the lever in and out. Looks like the bracket slopes down towards that pin like a wedge shaped drop to where the pins in place.

When I lower the switch to lower the jack that wedge moves down against the roll pin. When you pop it up to raise the jack it returns the roll pin to horizontal raise position lower position.

Well i figured it out after thinking about what you said Law dog. I did not have that roll pin pushed through far enough. instead of pushing the lift pin up it just turned it.
Thanks for the help

As I remember the instructions, You can't get away with reversing the jack by HAND, you need to smack the reverse lever with the jack handle.
