I think this another pic of him. He looks outside his ears to me. Mains come out past nose and curve back in quite a bit.
Headed out west in a week to hunt muleys with oldest boy. Youngest is off to college so don't know if he'll hunt at all. Got a few bigger deer around so unless a neighbor shoots him or I find his sheds I doubt we will get any real measurements on him.

he’s attracted to garbage cans ?… that’d make him a waste management buck to y’all deer farmers right ?

Insert profound nonsense here

As 8 pointers go, he is a good one.

So much corn, milo, wheat and alfalfa around here we have to offer them something different to get them to pose for pics here. Every week I just grab another can from Macdonalds

For some reason I thought he was a ten better get my eyes checked ; he's got potential never know what that 4th year brings if he's still an eight he needs to die.

Those main beams aren't that short.

They reach out past the end of his nose, looks like.

Ok then I will adjust my score estimate to 136"

You watch to much Drury/ Lakoski/Winke stuff.

Where's JByrd? He'll pin it down. grin

I don't know who any of them fellers are. Are they good at estimating scores from a few pictures, and know what age does to the shape of the back and the belly of a deer too?
You estimated 130. I guessed shy of 130.
I guessed 2 1/2 years old. You estimated 4 years old.
I don't know about where you hunt, but I do know that most places on the planet not many deer are born in October.
I'll look up them fellers you referred me to. Maybe they'll know...
