I'm two miles from the Canadian border. It's an eight pointer. East/west thing where no one is willing to budge.

Call it a 4x6. I got a 5x7 wall hanger. Gonna figure that seer will go 155" maybe more. He's got some real nice mass and gonna think 22" spread. Can't really tell the main beam length.

Yeah. Just wondering what the guys that counts points would call a 4x6? I suppose a 10 pointer but not sure.

That comment got me curious to know where the demarcation line is between calling that buck a "4x4" or an "8 point"?

Is I assume that at least on the north end of the Country that line is between North Dakota and Minnesota, but how about as you progress south? I'll take a guess that in the south the line is between Texas and New Mexico. Assuming that's the case, how about those States in-between?
