Not what I said . In fact this proved my point . Playing defense against high school talent offense is how the stats are what they are . You guys brag you play 9 conference games a year . Why wouldn’t you ? Look at the teams under those three. It’s pretty clear if 9 out if 12 games are against your conference and your defensive stats are good then the offense sucks . Plus the other 3 games at least 2 of those are community colleges! University of oh is on that list. Do you think their defense is as good as Georgia? Bama? No and if you do you don’t know football. If the teams on that list had common opponents then it would be more accurate. Only thing common is top 4 of 5 played big 10 schools

Before you say “ It’s because the defense is so tough” No when you have teams like Iowa winning 10-7 13-10 There is no offense throughout the conference.

Just goes to show there is no defense in the SEC, the teams are playing against high school defenses, lol. Defense wins games. Tell me what SEC team beat a good outside the conference team this year.

Going to be interesting next year, Bama has Georgia early plus Oklahoma at Oklahoma, Wisconsin, etc. etc. Going to be a strange football season next year. Least then you can lose a game or two and get in so Nitty's rugged yankee teams can show us what they really are cause they will be in the play off's and probably facing a SEC opponent.

As I've stated before, I bleed Michigan blue and love the Wolverines. I grew up in Michigan and love the Big 10, always have. Always thought it was THE toughest conference out there until I started going to different venues and watching SEC football. In a nutshell, year in and year out, the SEC is tougher top to bottom in football without question. Of course there are exceptions, but just look at the past 10 years of National Champions. I've been to over twenty NCAA football games, the size and quickness of SEC defenses is just different.

This is the CFP playoffs, stats and rankings are out the window. Saban will have Bama ready to play but I feel like its Michigan's year. Time will tell.
