Try the relays in that case next time you have some time. Just swap them from your working sled if they look the same.

victor#0 call Craig Compeau 907-388-2541. He is good with helping trappers.
If you haven't solved the issue yet.

Battery is good and the starter cranks just fine it just doesn't fire. After trying to start a couple times the engine light comes on with 4 short beats. Don't have time to mess with it anymore right now.

Do you mean that you have no spark?
If you mean that it just won't run/start, have you tested for spark?

I was wondering that same thing.

It sounds like a bum sensor in the system somewhere......if you have fuel and spark it should light........... unless some sensor is telling it not to

It’s a good thing that you’re not way out on the line with this type of problem. Flashing lights on the newer machines at 9 th and plumb aka 9 miles out and plumb out of sight isn’t good. Walking can be hazardous to your health here during conditions not conducive to walking that I have seen over the years trapping in the interior!

I ended up selling my 4 stroke SWT for a 570 Bearcat since walking wasn’t an option anymore! No orange lights flashing either anymore!.

Good Luck

I've always run Bravo's on my remote line and they've always gotten me home. I like what these 4 strokes can do but I don't trust them so I use them on my line that's closer to the village. I'll post an update once I figure out what's going on.

Yes, I pumped all the gas out of the tank which is something I should have done after I bought it last April. The guy told me it had sat a lot over the years, it seems that it had accumulated water in the tank. One of the sparkplugs was also fouled so replaced them. Put a whole bottle of the yellow HEET in the tank and filled it with fresh gas. Gave it a good run and it runs good, no more issues starting it. Also ordered some extra relays for both machines as I've heard those can be an issue with these ACEs.

One other issue I have seen that can cause running issue with that model is the screen on the fuel pump regulator becoming clogged. Here is a post about it with some pictures.

That sled should have a sock filter before the fuel pump, then the regulator screen and finally a small filter in the fuel outlet. Any time there is a fuel related issue I check these.

Good deal I have seen that too where gas/oil mix has been sitting too long. Gets almost slimy and slightly 'thick"

Glad you got it going
