Wolverine were just added to the endangered Species List last year. Wolverine are now classified as Threatened in the lower 48. I believe this will have no effect on Alaska or Canada. The reason for listing the wolverine was do to "climate change" in the lower 48. So i guess we have a different "climate change" in Alaska and Canada that does not effect our wolverine.

It's an anti thing, there has been no season on them in forever in the lower 48. We are on the very edge of their range so there are very few wolverine, have always been few wolverine, they have been protected by the individual states for a very long time, there are still few wolverine. Adding them to the Federal list as threatened will not cause the population to grow. What it will do is give them an excuse to limit or stop other activities because it might harm a wolverine incidentally.
