In all fairness, it was MRS Dead Coyote that showed me the move. She grabbed DC by the scruff of his neck and whipped him across the room. I just applied the tactic to cats. Now DC Junior, he just goes hand to hand with anything!

I have nothing clever to put here.

An easy way to release a cat is to grab it by the tail. Give it a bit of a snap and it will stun the cat long enough to release it.

Note. Kids don’t try this Old fools have at it and let us know how it worked out for you.

Afternoon all. I just got in from checking my short line. 2" of new snow over a 1/4" of ice. No spots or otter but picked up one ermine. Had a large buck mink steal my otter bait and then torment me from across the pond. Remained everything and then set out a few mink boxes. It's becoming personal between this otter and me!

Just about done putting up fur. Tomorrow will be the last of it so I can make the truck Thursday. It is nice to see the snow now I can get back at it. Check my bait piles and hope the coyote are there.

Picked up a roadkilled mink on the way home, in good shape too. Not enough to cover gas but will get donated to the Tanned Fur Project.

We got about 6 inches of snow overnight. That made the poor ice bad again so I pulled the line I had just set a couple days ago. I am hoping to hang some snares now that we have a little snow and some cold coming.

Yes, this weather is "challenging" to say the least. No snow or cold and now snow over poor ice. The swamps still aren't froze enough back here to be able to travel on. I may run the Tundra around in a couple of days and make a critter highway. Everything is lazy and will follow a path if there is one. The loggers were trying to get into the Ash just South of me today with an ATV and a drag to try to freeze down a road. The BURIED that machine.

Good evening,I fly out to CA next Sunday to work with the bee's.Fly out of Fargo to Denver and finish at Santa Barbra, just in time for some of the below zero weather here.Fly back to MN around the 20th of Feb,might snare a few beavers under the ice in March.Have a good night and hope some cats find some of your footholds or snares tonight.

Excuse me, this is a family oriented sight. Some of those pictures above brace the line as it is.

Who’s modding the mods i ask you?
