Me and my cousin shot one in a creek when we were in high school

I remember it weighed 78# on a Viking spring scale.

I don't remember it being near as big as either of those pictured.

Neighbor caught an 80 lb. beaver a few years ago and has the hide hopped and hanging up in his living room. Takes up most of the wall!

I've never broken the 80 lb mark. 72 lbs was my biggest. Would love to catch and 80, but would dread lugging it out if it was where the 4 wheeler won't go
