Or a stop to the mining due to fossils like that present. Have a friend that ran a big hoe working on placing wind turbines along the Columbia River. He dug up a chunk of mammoth one day. Boss told him to bury it and not to talk About it. Site would have been shut down.

This sorta blows the manmade global warming theory all to pieces. Earth's been warming up for 10000 years. Imagine that! Not really. Nobody denies that the earth has been warming for 10,000 years. Climate science shows that CO2 and such being pumped into the atmosphere is artificially increasing the rate of warming. Where the leftist nonsense and panic comes in is whether or not the warming matters, and the effects of the warming.

You do realize that 1 large forest fire(Canadian) past couple years, or 1 large volcanic explosion dwarfs what mankind does for decades right? But we are in charge correct…

But we are in charge correct… Of course forest fires and volcanos pump out CO2. Nobody said they don't. That doesn't mean that humans don't also pump CO2 as well. Oh, and your statistic about forest fires is wrong. Forest fires put out a lot of CO2 every year, but not enough to "dwarf what mankind does for decades". All the forest fires in the world last year pumped out less CO2 than what China pumped out last year.

Climate science shows that CO2 and such being pumped into the atmosphere is artificially increasing the rate of warming. Where the leftist nonsense and panic comes in is whether or not the warming matters, and the effects of the warming. Science doesn't say that , Science says co2 levels rise "following" temp rise. Science says that we "need" atleast .022% co2 for plant life, also says we are at.035% + or-. Science does not say what level of co2 or what temp is optimum. Science also says that sunspot activity most likely is the biggest driver of temps. I am not blind to air pollution and in no way understating its effects, however, The real science has spoken.

An estimated 10,000 to 100,000 years old? They can't narrow it down any more than that? that was the period of the last ice age <100,000 years starting

Looks like he broke it with the bucket. Its pretty common here. I am just shipping this piece out to an auction. Be at the auction. Duane will take two bids slam the hammer down and say "SOLD". A week later it's in his store at two to three times the price. Been there seen it.

That would be the coolest thing to find. Except maybe a vein of gold on your own property. I'd Say Gold... It would but then it would depend on what state and what their laws about minerals are and who owns the right, here in Minnesota most mineral rights for the majority of property are owned by the government, so if you found gold on your farm they could go in or lease those right to someone else and leave you out in the cold, and might not even be liable for damage and destruction of your property So if it was me and Found gold or other valuables I would quietly mine it and say I got it or found it somewhere else

They found a full mammoth excavating for a new alley worth of pens at a feed yard I used to work at in Kansas. It shut the project for 3 years and to listen to the manager it would be the last time he did the right thing and reported any such thing.

There are known places in Alaska that people hunt for Ivory and bones. I've seen stacks of mastodon tusks, tho mostly broken, in a Seward Peninsula village. Another is a frozen sand bluff on the Yukon R. It is locally called the boneyards. Natives only? No. Old stuff, walrus, mastodon can be harvested and sold by anyone. Only stickler is land ownership. Items found on govt. land technically belong to the govt.
